Hi there..

Yeah, has been growing fungus at home lately.. exams are over and the results finally came out...

And yes, I passed all subjects.. ^^
See my beautiful result above.. =P

Finally, I can pack my bag and say Good Bye to Monash. Tata!! @_@

And now I am officially... ALMOST a graduate!!! Graduation ceremony will only be held next year September I think..
Anyway, its only a symbolic thingy.. not really important.
And so its time for me to work. Arghh!!
Has been wasting time bumming around in November.
Not planning to seek permanent employment at the moment and thus will look for temporary jobs... just to earn some extra cash.. its December mahh.. Hehe

Won't be continuing Honours in Monash.
Results are just average and most probably will not get accepted.
Furthermore, I am not really interested in research at the moment. = =
Will work for some time just to gain some experience before doing post-grad study. =/

Hmmm.....
To all my graduating fellow course-mates, congrats we have finally made it!!!! Haha.
To those who will be staying for further study, I wish you all 'All the best'!! Hehe =P

The Finals

It has been very long since I last blog. Has been very busy with studies for the past few weeks. And yes, AT LAST! The finals are here. This will probably be the last 'Finals' I will be sitting for in Monash. Hehe. Yeahhh!!

It has been an awesome three years I guess ^^. Three years may not be long. Indeed, I do feel that it passes by quickly. I could still remember clearly the first day in college where we were all in high spirit, full of hopes and just couldn't wait to start haha.

The first lecture I had was Biology. The lecturer started by introducing to us the concept of evolution, mentioning on extraterrestrial life etc. I remember that he told us to read an article on 'How to Create a Universe'. Well, I did not, even till today. XD Well, all those are meant to introduce the theme of the study to us I guess. It was really interesting.

The second lecturer said we are all studying to become a scientist and even commented that one of us could win the Nobel prize someday. Wow! A degree in hand will open up a door of opportunities and we are free to do whatever we dream off. He also reminded us that we should enjoy our university life and to study for the sake of knowledge itself.

Such encouraging words! I have to say that after the first two lectures, I was so convinced that I have choosen the right course hehe. I bet others felt the same way too.

As always, reality is not that simple. Ask any of the alumni, Monash is famous for the huge amount of works. Reports, assignments, exams. As I progress, the interest and enthusiasm seem to be fading away. Life has become so routine. Sleeping in lectures and skipping classes becomes a habit =P. Of course not all are like that as there are really hardworking students. I am just not one of them haha.

After spending six semesters here, I am glad that it has finally come to an end. Throughout the entire duration of study, I manage to pass all subjects without a single fail. Thank you ^^. (We will see if I manage to pull through this final exam) Haha.

I have to admit that I have learn much in the past three years. However, results are just average. Sometimes I do feel that I could do better by putting in more efforts. Anyway, it is the beginning of a new chapter now, I shouldn't be feeling too remorse =P.

Tons of stuff to complete in this 1 week time.. but at least I dont have to go to uni.. hahaha
The finals will be in 1 month time.. very sked.. tons of notes to read and memorize..

Bored + Stress = ?

Hi peoplez...

Wuah, it has almost been a month since I last blog...

Still remember the last post was done in my uni library... time really 'terbang'...
I mean.. its like.. so fast one month??!!! What have I done so far!!??.. nothin special happen oso... like I had mentioned it b4 in my 1st or 2nd post I think.. life is kinda 'routine' for me...
1st month here is really boring...
Everyday is kinda same.. seriously.. I did not go anywhere.. no movies.. no 'makanin' out.. no this no that.. = =''

Some more my life is soo 'upside down'... kinda of a 'nocturnal' creature that stay awake all night long.. and sleep in the day..
The timetable I got doesn't help much either.. with classes at 8am in the morning.. one big 'gap' in between and and end at 6pm in the evening..

The new campus although is 'BIG' but there is actually not much place to hang out besides the library =p... MUSA is way too noisy... back in the old campus, at least I got to hang out in foyer, cafeteria, Orange or walk to pyramid or the old MUSA which is 'not too' noisy... =/ but ere... hehe

OMG!!! so boring.. help help help help...!!!!
Even this site oledi becoming 'dead'... =/
Almost forget my password while signing in.. needed to pause and think.. =p
Really admired those that manage to keep up with an almost a 'daily' update.. hehe...
Anyways, thanx to you people, at least I will have something to read..

Weird cause when you are in your final semester, aren't you supposed to fell very 'semangat' since you are graduating soon..? I thought that when I was in my 1st year.. but now... o_O guess Monash really worn me out... ahh.. tolong.. so stress here.. =p

Was told by one of my lecturer that we all should be enjoying our university life.. HAVE FUN!!! hoho..

Really hope that all this will end soon...
But come to think bout it... it will be working life after this... isn't that more 'routine' it will become???!! = =''
Hope that I manage to get myself a job that I am happy with...
But I guessed a Biotech graduate cannot be too choosy... hehe.. or maybe I will end up 'jobless' XD

Neway, this weekend might be going to Cyberjaya.. meet up with old schoolmates.. do some catching up.. hoho.. can run away from all this.. for a while.. =)

Restoran Ayam Penyet Ria

Yoo peeps....

This will be my first post on 'Food' here hehe so lets make it short ya =P...

Went to 'makan' at this Indonesian restaurant just now with Randy...

Was located at Mentari Business Park in Sunway...

The name is 'Restoran Ayam Penyet Ria'. =/ Sounded a bit funny to me though.. Think it was named after the 'ciu pai' food there, the 'Ayam Penyet'.. =P

This is my third time taking Indonesian. The first and second was last year in a place near Lagoon Perdana and somewhere near college.. haha..

Was recommended by Randy to try the chicken... so yeah, ordered one as the main course with an extra bowl of soup.. and with 'nasi putih'... and plain ice water...




'Restoran Ayam Penyet Ria'

There you go 'Restoran Ayam Penyet Ria'.. =p According to Randy, there were usually more people.. maybe because it was raining at that time so people lazy to come haha...

My 'Ayam Penyet' together with the bowl of 'Bakso Penyet' soup + 2nd plate of rice..



'Basok Penyet' soup... RM4.50

This bowl of 'Bakso Penyet' soup is only a quarter or less of what was served... The actual portion is quite large, with 6 beef balls.. =p

This is because I forgot to take a picture first before eating... haha.. new blogger ma.. still dun have the habit yet.. Anyway, the soup is really tasty and they also put in some 'tong fun'.. great to go with the rice (actually finish my 1st plate of rice with the soup n totally neglecting the chicken)..



'Sup Rawon'... RM5.00 (also taken halfway into eating.. lupa ma.. hehe)

Randy on the other hand had this 'Sup Rawon' for soup... Hmm, don't look that appetizing compared to mine but I guess you can't really judge just by its look.. haha... included in the soup are diced beef lying beneath..



'Ayam Penyet'... RM6.00

And here you have the neglected 'Ayam' haha.. was actually too full after I finish the soup but still have to eat it somehow.. XD.. The chicken is really soft, tender and easy to eat.. Comes together are some boiled 'kangkong', some crispy fried bits of chicken and beancurd...

I think that is why they call it 'Penyet'?.. I guess it was lightly pressed during preparation to make it soft... hehe..

Google it and you will find out that the 'Ayam Penyet' is an Indonesian cuisine and originated from the Surabaya recipe... haha

Spend an hour 'makaning' there.. consider long luu.. since Randy and I always spent the max. 15 minutes if we go medan foodcourt.. wuahahaha..
Overall, we paid RM26.88 for two (including 5% service charge though)...
Not too bad.. I guess it was worth it..considering the portion of the food served...
Plan to come back to try the fish... dun really know what it is called... some fried 'ikan keli' haha..
Maybe later will tell you all... =P

As I have been blogging for almost a month now.. well - almost.. I have yet to link it to my other friend's blogs or to 'open' this blog..
I even hide this blog from my blogspot profile..
One reason is that I hope to have more posts here before 'revealing' it.. =p

Yo..

1st semester results finally came out few days ago..
Well, it seems that I am getting 'smarter' each semester..
Why? Cause I am getting more and more P grades.. = =''
So far, last semester was the best I ever get, 2 Ps together.. tsk tsk..

Wuahahaha...
Anyway, was not expecting to do so well last semester..
First reason was that I was super duper lazy.. really slacking during the entire sem..
Yes, come to think about it.. I kind of deserve it ><""..
Besides dedicating most of the time plagiarizing reports ^o^ and assignments.. I did not really study..
Study was only done right before the exam haha...
And Monash don't provide study break... = =
And you know how it goes.. =p

In the end, I had to cramp the entire semester of facts into my head and to pour it all out again in the exam hall..
Well, it kind of works for me for the last 2 years in Monash..
Sad to say, the method above only works for some units..
But as I am already in my third and final year.. I guess it ain't that easy.. O_o''

For instance, I wouldn't worry much for units that I had scored quite high internally.. say.. around 38/50..
Only answering 1/3 of the final paper would enable me to pass.. of course I will achieved more than that..usually I think.. haha..
And thus the stress is not as great cause the priority would be to achieve higher grades and not just to aim for a P.. =p

But hor, the last sem was really different..
Instead of getting the usual average marks.. I ended up with much lower internal..
= ='' tell you its kinda scary..

SCI3716 Laboratory Management was still ok although I skip the entire lectures for the whole sem... due to the high internal the assignment carries..
GEN3030 Genetics was ok as well..
PHA3801 Pharmacology was not so good..
The worst of all, the unit BTH3757 Molecular Biology and Biotechnology.. I actually got a 22/50 for internal! !@#$...

I failed the internal... and the prerequisite to pass the unit is to pass both internal and the theory exam..
So no choice. have to go and see the lecturer.. = =''
Went with my friend..
Haih, kena from the lecturer luu, keep asking what we want him to do by seeing him although he is the one asking us to go his office.. = ="" (pengsan)
So finally got his permission to sit for the exam.. although he did say he can't guarantee us a pass..
We have to do exceptionally well in the finals to 'impressed' him...

So was really stressed out during the finals..

Exams was ok.. except for one paper - GEN3030..
Mind went blank during the paper.. cant recall any of the genes involved in development.. and in the end did not finish the paper..

The molecular biology paper was fine but I am not sure whether what I have written was good enough to 'impressed' him.. = =''

Arrgghh!!!?? How did I end up like this!! There is a high possibility that I will receive my first 'Failed' grade or grade(s) this semester.. !@#$!!!

OMG.. and not to mention the extra 3K that needed to be paid per unit in order to repeat..

So, when I finally logged in to view my result on Thursday.. heart was beating fast .. sked sked...

Well, it turn out that I still manage to pass all my units.. in fact GEN3030 still scored lower than BTH3757 although with a much higher internal.. gosh, guess I really screwed up the Genetics finals..

Anyway, I do manage to 'impressed' my BTH3757 lecturer hehe....

Although I am relieved, but kinda sad too in a way, although my average is still in the 'credit' region, I will have to work harder to move it to the 'distinction' region if I am considering Honours..
And so this coming last semester will be my last chance to prove it.. hehe..
And also to learn from the mistakes last sem and never never to repeat it haha..

Seriously, have to work hard already.. =)

Transformer got 7/10 haha..

Hey there...

Went to watch Transformer yesterday at 1 Utama with Lay Poh and Kan Mi. Initially was planning to watch it at Cineleisure punyer but hor when reach there n after spending like 10 minutes looking for parking only to find out most of the shows has been sold out.. = ='' Only left the late night wan...

So no choice luu, have to go to the next closest destination ~~ 1U. Have to waste 2 bug for parking fee tim.. har har har..

1U was no better.. once reach there, got to spend an entire 1 HOUR just to look for parking... yeah.. one whole blardy hour wandering from floor to floor in a jam.. berhimpit-himpit with other cars.. Haha, inilah akibatnya going to that place on a Sunday.. Well, was actually my 1st time doing that.. learnt my lesson -- never again!!

Even the spot I got is not actually a parking space and it is curve in a way that make me so hard to reverse in.. front and back also got car.. sudahlah I memang kekurangan skill in this.. have to ask the two ladies to jaga jaga for me when I reverse hahaha.. malu malu..

So reach at the GSC cinema, queue was long and all the tickets were selling fast.. and that is after 6 punyer shows.. before that have either been sold out or only left the 1st row seats.. heck I wont go for the 1st row.. later strain my neck pulak watchin XD..

Anyway , Miss Khoo suggested that we can still try to get the uncollected tickets but must wait for the released time lo.. and so we decided to line up.. As I was so hungry cause I havent ate at all, I let the two girls to line up and I go makan haha.. at McD. At the same time checking out at TGV. Well, TGV was kinda pack too and most of the shows are also sold out.. so decided to stick to GSC.

Came back they have almost reach the counter.. and so got to check.. found out that there are quite a number of uncollected tickets for the 4.30 show but the release time is at 4.00. Aiya Aiya, it was 3.30 at the time and so we decided to go for another round - of lining up.. @_@ what to do. too desperate to watch ma.. hahaha..

As they took almost half an hour to reach the counter the first time, we figure that by the time we reach it will just be nice. =p BUT NO!!! Reach the counter at 3.55!!! !@#$%!! Initially wanted to try to bodek the worker there but sadly doesnt work!!

We ended up with this sour face and attitude worker..totally opposite of the very friendly one earlier.. haih..

Heck it is already 3.55!!!! Arghh!!! With that attitude of hers, we dont fell like asking anymore.. we can of course drag the conversation, giving her a hard time until its 4.00 but aiks, our skin not thick enuf haha.. summore the worker face really 'lan tai' hehehe.. cannot afford to stand in front her any longer.. =/

so so so, Lay Poh and I fail to get tickets... but WAIT!!!, luckily earlier Kan Mi said we are moving in too fast, I kinda suggested it also so she started lining up further back.. Oohhh - our BACKUP!!!

Har Har, but hor there are still over 20-25 people in front of her.. omg lets hope we still manage to get tickets..

Luckily, there are still some left when she reach.. around 4.05 The uncollected tickets were being grab fast.. really fast..!! Around 10 tickets are left.. even the 1st three seats chosen by us were suddenly taken by someone from another counter haha.. tsk tsk... anyway, we still manage to get three seats together.. side center.. haha.. =p

*curse the earlier sour face worker - may u forever work in a cinema - front counter.. sooner or later u will get it from someone hehe.. I am so evil .. XD

So got some snacks and got into the cinema.. hmm the show was okie.. How do I rate it? 7/10 larr haha, action, special effects was good but the end part was too mess up.. too messy and I cant really follow during the battle scene.. but itu Miss Khoo really like it and gave it a 9/10 score haha.. well.. she really enjoy it I guess..

I still prefer the 1st hour of the show hehe..

Overall, we spend an hour stuck in jam, an hour queuing for tickets just to watch the show, an hour for travelling between places and an hour wasting time. A total of 4 hours.. haha, real tiring day for me.. next time I think should do some online booking 1st =/

Ok luu, thats about it my experience while watching this year's biggest movie..

neways, kind of realise tat i actually have the interest to read all those stuff.. i know.. u might think tat wat kind of a person am i to actually have the interest to read ppl blogs harharhar

But come to think bout it, the purpose of a blog is to be read by ppl rite.. and its ppl like me who like to surf surf surf to find interesting stuff to read that makes some blog out there so popular that these bloggers can actually earn a living through blogging alone.. harharhar..

I have to say that it sure be nice if i can earn some extra $$$ through blogging.. =P

In fact, my life is kinda lame bored (yeap jus plain boring).. all i do is...

neway, had ledi deleted tat wan and got tis new wan..
why all of a sudden? erm.. am actually having ma semester break now.. ^^..
so i have like 3 weeks of FREEDOM after a torturous semester... =/
so i think tat i shall give it a try.. err to blog i mean... =/
